To establish connectivity between Agitron Orbis™ devices and the cloud for automated communication, an Agitron Orbis™ Gateway is essential. The Gateway connects to the internet via your local LAN network through the RJ-45 connection. Capable of connecting up to 100 devices, the Gateway's range is contingent on the environment, accounting for obstacles such as walls, with an effective distance ranging between 10 and 30 meters. Prior to placing an order, it is advisable to assess the spatial requirements and select the appropriate number of Gateways accordingly.
For industrial and complex environments, where Power over Ethernet (PoE) powering is preferred, we suggest choosing the professional Agitron Router AR100. The router offers advanced features and diagnostics, and it has the capacity to serve hundreds of devices.
